I saw a post on the front page by a group member titled "Those Who Lived Wayward Life In School Get Better Opportunities Than Church Goers".
I read the post and realised that a complete thought was not given to the topic and the analysis was incomplete.

So, I have decided to write this.
I will be looking at this from various angles.
Those who go to Church as used in the post depicts the devoted, while those W a wayward represent those who are rebellious ( some occasionally goes to church, some goes while others are non-believers); all of these "care free lives".

The truth is that the Church goer obeys the principles of God and the wayward ones don't. You can't simply estimate the level of compromise the wayward ones are willing to go. What you see is their success but you don't know the true story.

Examples:

1) A man posted on this platform about a job opportunity of about 150,000 naira that came with a compromise on gay sex, which he refused.
On this same platform, some else posted that he was willing to take the job, and no one should judge him.

2) If the girl Chidinma Ojukwu the UNILAG student was successful with the murder, the same would have been said of her.

3) Years ago, I was asked to falsify my age in order to get a job in an organisation but I refused. Some would have gladly done it.

See what Psalm 73:2-28 says;

But as for me, my feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold.
3 For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

4 They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong.
5 They are free from common human burdens; they are not plagued by human ills.
6 Therefore pride is their necklace;
they clothe themselves with violence.
7 From their callous hearts comes iniquity; their evil imaginations have no limits.
8 They scoff, and speak with malice;
with arrogance they threaten oppression.
9 Their mouths lay claim to heaven, and their tongues take possession of the earth.
10 Therefore their people turn to them
and drink up waters in abundance.
11 They say, “How would God know?
Does the Most High know anything?”
12 This is what the wicked are like—
always free of care, they go on amassing wealth.
13 Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure and have washed my hands in innocence.
14 All day long I have been afflicted, and every morning brings new punishments.
15 If I had spoken out like that, I would have betrayed your children.
16 When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply
17 till I entered the sanctuary of God;
then I understood their final destiny.

18 Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin.
19 How suddenly are they destroyed,
completely swept away by terrors!
20 They are like a dream when one awakes; when you arise, Lord, you will despise them as fantasies.
21 When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered,
22 I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you.

23 Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.
24 You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
27 Those who are far from you will perish; you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.
28 But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.

Another Case is this:
One needs to know people and relate well with them. Those termed wayward, many of which relates well with people and have connections which end up working for them.

Case 3
Another angle is that one needs to know and have something to offer the organisations.
Some not all of those you called wayward are enlightened as to what is required in the society and are already money wise enhance, they know which certificate programs to go for. While those termed Church Goers are only learning about some aspects of God; and are occupied with Church activities.

Fourth Case:
This aspect is deep.
It has to do with the spiritual.

Ecc. 8:14
There is a futility that is done on the earth: There are righteous men who get what the actions of the wicked deserve, and there are wicked men who get what the actions of the righteous deserve. I say that this too is futile.

Some people are receiving the rewards of the good or wickedness of their parents or ancestors.
Some people are not doing right but their parents or ancestors have done so much good that causes God to bless them, help them, or not punish them.

That is why we hear words like: For my servant David's sake.

While there are some doing good, and are receiving the rewards of the wicked because of the wickedness of their ancestors:
believe it or not, it still happens: you need to pray your self out. ( plead your case before God that it shouldn't be so).

God is ever faithful.
Give your life to Jesus.

There is no Truth to claim in bold. undecided

Instead your typical church goer or Churchian is a one who submits to the doctrines and traditions taught them by their pastors and Mogs, doctrines and commandments that really lies , according to Jesus Christ , and have nothing to do with the Truth of God - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14. undecided

Here is another falsehood in your cases.

1. God abolished generational curses, which by the way, He instituted as part of the Old Covenant, in Ezekiel 18 vs 1 - 36. So, there is no such thing as recieving good or wickedness because of one's ancestors. undecided

2. We are called according to the New Covenant Law that is Jesus Christ and not according to the Old Covenant Law of Moses, which God made sure to inform you belongs only to those of the bloodline of Jacob - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20 - so living according to the Old Covenant when you are meant to be living according to the Law of Jesus is itself a sin against God. undecided

And we know sin draws consequences, even curses, for those of us under Law - Jesus Christ. undecided

3. In Jesus Christ, the only way to get out from under the consequence of sin, disobedience of God's commandment(s), is to choose instead to submit to and obey the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ. No amount of prayer can deliver anyone from the consequences of sin against God. undecided

I have read all your claims of falsehood and seen that there is no falsehood in any of them, but that you do not comprehend the writing. You are one of those babes that acts like you know.

in your first claim of falsehood, I talked about the fact that the people termed wayward can choose to compromise and sited three examples, yet you said there is nothing to substantiate the point. what else do you want?

I gave other analysis of what could happen, you said it does not exist. I perceive you really don't know how things work and either you didn't comprehend the writing or just chose to make the claims.

I never said that the law exists that one should bear the inequity of the sin of another, but that the devil don't always "fight fair". So I said they have to enforce it. Please and read everything again with an open mind. Thanks

1. In my first response, I tried my best to make it clear that the statement below

2. The devil may not play fair but he cannot circumvent boundaries laid out by God in all of this though. undecided
