Since Britain invaded Nigeria in the 1700s/1800s, till today Nigeria still has a poor military. Same as most african countries - they still have poor militaries. This means that Britain, France and Germany can very easily invade africa again. Namibia that was invaded by the Germans still has a poor military. Africa why? When will you do away with your lax/ laid back culture.

No West African State has deemed it necessary to manufacture its own weapons which could be cheaper than buying from abroad; this is an area Innoson Motors can be contracted to work on.

Between 1700 and now, no change - what a shame.

It's actually funny the OP thinks we're in still in the era when superior empires invade and dominate others. Did your military earn you independence in the first place? If not, why do you think they're the ones stopping any super power from invading your country now? What even makes you think a country can just invade another just cause they've a stronger military? How many sovereign nations do you think we'd have today if that was the case?

I am giving you the facts that UK military is still significantly stronger than I believe ecowas military combined. Why isnt there any African country that manufactures weapons?

See how Russia takes its territorial integrity very seriously - just because UK ship crossed into their waters, they have already given the UK a very serious warning.

Does Nigeria even have coast guards? If they do I am sure they are sleeping half the time. African culture is unserious.

The same laxity of 1700 is the same laxity of today.

it was a combination of military uprisings in colonies, colonies ganging up against britain and political pressure from other countries that FORCED Britain to grant independence to former colonies.

When is that please? It needs to be done sooner than later if it means one dullard will leave the seat he presently occupies.

No African nations that are manufacturing anything without the white assistance. Ordinary construction of rads we can't do well. Is it modern day jet bomber, submarine, heavy duty tank we will manufacture? This OP.is day dreaming.
However the white repented and abolished slavery and after WWs made a UN Laws that forbid the fears of the OP. The oyinbos are paying heavily for this now. They are spending fortunes to curtail ISIS, Al Qaeda, etc. Before this Law, they could deal ruthlessly with any Arab countries with such tendencies with their weapons now. But the law has incapacitated them. No dears OP.
