Gazzuzz and other experts

Dear Nairalanders,
I am contemplating picking up a Toyota Avalon 2004, but I don't know much about Avalon performance, fuel economy and spare parts cost effectiveness. Though I know V6 consumes a little more gas than 4plugs. Please respectable house, kindly advise me. If you own or have use an Avalon 03 or 04, I will be glad to hear from you.
Thanks.

You’re not completely right.
The Corolla is not economically you can’t get a well maintained below 1.3/1.5 million. Meanwhile you can get Avalon for less.
With proper maintenance the Avalon can last same way as the Corolla.
Truly doesn’t consume much fuel.
Corolla parts is expensive because the demand is on the high.
Remember that buying the Corolla the OP won’t be able to sleep with his 2 eyes close. Even driving the car he will always be on the look out for thieves.
I will go for the Avalon or Camry bug for nothing and have peace of mind.

It's a great car. 6 cylinder and powerful. You can also go for Big 4 Nothing i4 Engine. Subsidy will be removed anytime soon and fuel will be close to ₦270 or more

Corolla ko, Corona ni.

Op, no mind em Corolla fan boys o.
That thing is for women and taxi drivers.

If you really want to own a machine with luxury, better buy that Avalon than buying the overrated lightweight taxi-corolla-cab.

Check all the necessary parts, if the Avalon tick em all, kindly go for it.
I drive a Honda DC tho, and its better than those Uber Corollas. QED

In my highly biased opinion, check out https://www.rollsauto.com/used-cars-bad-credit . Tons of inventory and the search results are sorted by deal quality and dealer reputation rather than how much the dealer paid to be on the site. We are trying to make the process of buying a new car much more transparent.

It is great for V6. My return trip to work everyday is 28 miles. I spend between 6 - 8k fuel every week depending on the traffic situation. I am very fine with it. It is a strong car. Though, I don't like abusing car.

I do travel to Abeokuta from Lagos with it and sometimes Epe.

Gazzuzz and other mechies here have helped with small issues that my usual Kazeem would have made big. That keeps the car going and I enjoy it till date.

even if they remove subsidy,he who made #2 million to buy a car will make #10k to put fuel,so no cause for alarm, let the op buy whatever type of vehicle he desires, fuel consumption should not be on top of his wish list, been happy with the car should be on top, having a car is not simply getting from pointA to B but how does the car make you feel?after owning several cars Acuras, accords, ram trucks,I will fall asleep in a corolla,I drive an 07 Honda DC v6 now, quite an interesting car with an equally interesting ac system.
