You see Tecno Phantom X and Infinix Zero X Pro? They are just the same phone in different skin. Transsion is a big scam. They have been scamming Africans on a steady with their copy copy phones. The worst is that they will just slam a huge price on these devices.

Same with Hot 9 and Spark 5|| hot 8, camon 12, and spark 4. Bunch of scammers.

They're not kuku scamming, since they're not forcing you to come and buy their products.

Their are some cost that have been put into cognizance before arriving at their selling prices.

So you cannot blame them.

We call something comparative advantage.

If China are producing a similar goods with Nigeria at a cheaper prices compare to Nigeria that make that particular good at a bigger costs.

What each countries enjoy to make their products are different.

So, it's now left for the buyers to choose their sellers.

If you can't buy from Transsions cause their products are too high, you can choose other companies to buy from.

So in short, stop calling them scams if you have not been in their shoes before.

So any chipset that is not Snapdragon is a low chipset? If Exynos is so good why is it not on the Samsung current flagships?

Are you saying any smartphone that has same ram/Rom and same chipset is the same phone? Cos that's where the similarlties between phantom X and zero X ends, every other thing is different.

Same thing I was arguing with some people on gsmarena days ago.

Most of them (comments outside Nigeria) were saying the device shouldn't cost more than $300 given other brands with same SoC sells.
Even some people were justifying the ridiculous price by saying big battery and other stuff... Was funny

Same 108MP triple rear camera, same battery capacity, same RAM/ROM. So tell me why I should buy phantom X for 230k while Zero X or X Pro is about 180k?

I would not say they are scamming anyone because their phones are certified by FCC and the information is readily available. People should read about the phones they want to get before deciding too

Even without the anonymous tag, the way they defend the brand is a dead giveaway and the way they comment... Even bots can do better
