Afraid Of Visa Denial/fraudulent Agent? Explore Escrow Travel Processing by TravelConaults: 4:53pm On Jun 30, 2021
A lot of people would love to travel out of Nigeria for business, greener pastures and tourism purpose. However the fear of Visa denial after much funds have been spent has resulted in unpalatable experience for some prospective travellers.

Visa denial is sometimes beyond the control of the agent. For example, the advent of COVID-19 and lock down in some countries resulted in cancellation/expiration of already approved documents.

For example, a student who got admission to study in the UK a few months ago may be unable to travel due to the UK lock down and offer of admission may have expired.

Also, some people who processed UAE working visa may be left disappointed as the government of UAE cancelled employment visa for Nigeria.

Above examples are forces that are beyond the control of the travel agent.

To minimize the lose of funds by prospective travellers in event of Visa denial, you should explore the option of escrow processing.

In this option, Visa processing fees will be deposited in an escrow account with agreement signed by your lawyer that payment for the Visa/Passport will only be made after the visa/passport is out. So if the traveller's application is rejected, the agent doesn't get a dime and the fund goes back to the traveller's account. However, if the visa/passport is successfully approved, payment will be made to the consular and the prospective traveller can take possession of the visa/passport.

If you wish to travel, but you are afraid of losing scarce funds to visa denial after much has been spent, do ask your travel agent if escrow processing option is available.
