There was never any evidence against him. This jury people just decide cases based on emotions, I don't know where the US got this there useless trial by jury method. Many innocent people are languishing in jail just because members of jury that know nothing about the law decided to find them guilty based on emotional sentiments.

That u r found not guilty does not mean you did not do it.

It's a well documented fact that there's an extreme gender bias in federal criminal court cases in USA. Males get more incarcerated far more than females when the same crime is committed by both.

This is great news.
It's weird to see the man that brought laughter to so many faces being drained of his joy and freedom by false allegations by the powers that be, fuelled by the outcry of ignorant feminists riding on the #Metoo movement who are more anti-men then humanists.

I sincerely hope he gets his freedom.

For what? They are not saying he didn't do it bt case lacks enough evidence. Struck out basically. 2 years for such a case doesn't really deserve a compensation besides ur freedom.

Jury trial is not imposed on anyone in the US.

The Defendant must consciously choose either a Jury trial or a trial by a Judge.

Most defendants opt for a Jury trial because their chances of not getting convicted increases in a Jury trial since all 11 Juries must vote to convict before they can be found guilty....if just one Jury vote differently, the defendant wouldn’t be convicted....so defense lawyers targets to convince just one or a few Judy.

Alternatively, with a trial by a Judge, you only have one chance.

Finally, the Appeal Court did not consider the merit of the case before over turning, they merely stated that due to prior agreements between Mr. Cosby and the Prosecutor who first handled the case, he should not have been charged, there the conviction would have still been over turned had it been it was a trial by a Judge.
