you have to understand the nature of Nigeria political Terrarin. political structure is what wins election, popularity is not enough.

E.g Buhari is the most popular politician alive in North especially core north of North east and north west. He contested 3times he failed despite always coming second with average of 10m votes yet he lost against candidates that have no popularity like yardua, and gej.

Yardua and gej was handed well oiled political structure by obj PDP thats why it was easy for then to beat buhari.
When buhari realized he need a well structured political structure he formed aliance with Tinubu and others and he won.


Currently 2023 election is for APC to loose. Pdp/ atiku dont have the political structure to defeat APC candidate even if APC choose unpopular politician.

Verdict- if Tinubu wins APC primary he is the president elect. Atiku and pdp dont have the political structure and machinery to wrestle power from Apc at the Federal level.

You seem to have forgotten that it was Jonathan that first ever ordered the then CBN governor, SLS, to release N100bn to all the 36 state governors to fund their acquisition of lands within their states and allocate same to Fulani Herdsmen as grazing reserves. You also have forgotten that Seriake Dickson the governor of Jonathan's home state of Bayelsa was the first to actually allocate some land (1,200 hecters) for the purpose and sent thugs to attack and beat up Annkio Briggs and her supporters for staging a demonstration against the policy in the streets of Yenegoa.

Then who were the Fulanis in the government of Seriake Dickson that made him set aside the 1,200 hecters of scarce Bayelsa land for grazing reserve? All of them are Northerners and Northern APC chairmanship is a big boost for Southern candidate and an indication that, the party has zone its Presidential slot to south which Tinubu has upper hand.
