Sheikh Gumi, a popular Northern Islamic cleric, took to Facebook to respond to the arrest of four Oodua Nation supporters who were arrested by Lagos State Police for wearing charms on their bodies during a peaceful rally in Lagos yesterday.

Despite the warnings of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, that no agitators would be tolerated in Lagos State, people, particularly Yorubas, gathered to exercise their constitutional rights in the absence of heavily armed Forces. However, while the rally was taking place, a video of some miscreants being apprehended by the police while wearing charms went viral on social media.
