That's not good. It's aiding criminality. Criminals should be given Shariah treatments and must be exposed. If you are ashamed of exposure don't do the crime

What if ur innocent and get paraded, destroying ur name. And later they find out ur guilty, are they going to 'unparade' u and fix the damages already done? I have no problem with parading criminals caught in the act, like armed robbers, kidnappers, cultists, etc. But it is so wrong when police go raid a bar or a compound, arrest everyone there just because they are looking for 1 yahoo boy, and then parade everyone without investigation. A lot of people arrested in a raid are innocent so why parade them? If they must parade then they should at least carry out proper investigations.

Kudos to Lagos State Nigeria for always setting the pace and showing what Governance is about

Why will NPF , EFCC and other agencies raid a location, make unlawful arrest, torture people and still put their names and faces accross all media even when full investigation hasn't been conducted

God bless Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the Jagaban of Borgu

God bless Babajide Sanwo-Olu

God bless Lagos State house of assembly

.

God is not mocked!

As of 2021, the difference between educated and uneducated is that the first can speak in English while the second cannot.

That's a sad reality

Really? It's a good step in the right direction if passed and implemented.

A situation where our policemen turn to law themselves, they are the arrester, the prosecutors and the executioners will not augur well for the rule of law in the country.

They are always eager to condemn suspects by giving them media trial, in the name of trying to show they're working. Imagine our policemen displaying charms in the 21st century as part of their successes as law enforcers shocked where in the world is such done. Surely they need reorientationand and retraining

you are getting it all wrong - IF suspects are no longer paraded, many crimes will go unnoticed because when money exchange hands - the police will easily release offenders and the public wont complain because they never heard about the offence in the first place. The reason we are still seeing some form of justice today is because once paraded, the public demands to know the outcome of the case so the police and justice system feels obligated to follow through. Nigeria is not the USA or UK where the institutions will prosecute cases against offenders whether the public knows about it or not. In Nigeria, getting a case file to reach the courts from an IPO is like squeezing water out of rock as they prefer to dye the case and collect egunje at the police station.

It's not to seat down in a Chamber and pass Laws is to make sure they are adhered to if not this is an exercise in futility

You're defending illegalities and mediocrity...
You should defend those things that make Nigeria be like d USA & UK you mentioned, our politicians copy policies that take from the masses from these countries but never those ones that give back to them. Should Nigeria continue not being like those countries?
