Well, their parents voted APC then because PDP for several years in that state had failed them badly...to the point that the local PDp governor was being blasted by all his people left, right and center.

Anyway, the same murders happen even in working countries. Right now, there are cases in the USA THAT are similar to this one...inlcuding one that was solved after 40 years.

Crime happens everywhere. If they voted for your PDP nothing might have changed. Even if the police was well funded and working, nothing would have changed. That's effing life.

Nope, we should not.

Just pointing out the fact that voting for one party over the other and vice versa won't change the fact of crime happening in a country.

Me, I think that APC has failed on crime. But even if we voted PDP or any other party X that somehow magically turned the Police into a functioning thing....the fact is, it may not stop this murder from happening..

Ten years ago, someone in Benue committed suicide. Oppositions were jumping up and down blaming PDP. It was not PDP's fault..per se. But another party in power won't have had an impact on whether the guy comitted sucide or not.

Two children identified as Eric Abba and Aondona Eric Abba, who were abducted last Saturday, July 3 around the J.S. Tarka Institute of Political Studies in Benue state have been found dead, Reports.

The Linda Ikeji Blog reports that the children aged seven and six, were said to have left their home on Plot 109, Captain Downes street, Gboko East in Benue State to a football viewing center a few meters away from their residence after their parents left home. Their parents were said to have raised the alarm when they didn’t see them, leading to a search and rescue effort that yielded no results.

The footwear of one of them was later found near a dugout area that had a pool of water and the second’s footwear at a nearby Catholic Church on Sunday morning July 4. The discovery prompted an initial suspicion they might have drowned in the stagnant water. However, the search of divers in the shallow water yielded no result.

Sadly, the bodies of their minors were later discovered dumped near the water at the J.S. Tarka Institute of Political Studies with clear evidence of strangulation around their various necks.

The state police command has since commenced an investigation into the matter.
