If you kidnap one person, I mean just one person in country where things work, they don’t mind sending out 10 helicopters ,30 police trucks and vans including the navy and fire service. Restructure the country so that policing can be regionalized for effective performance. Nigeria! A country where bandits, Boko Haram, herdsmen, kidnappers, 'polithiefians'...are treated with kids' gloves while Ipob, and anyone demanding for a review of the Nigerian constitution; greater autonomy for his geopolitical zone, is seen as a threat and therefore worthy of being arrested, silenced or neutralized. Criminals are really having a field day in Nigeria. The truth remains that the insecurity will only end if the government is ready to end it. Yeah, you heard what I said. Years ago I was dumb enough to think the government was really hopeless. Think about the swiftness with which the government handles Twitter and the secrecy and sophistication when MNK was arrested.
