Safety is a state of being protected from potential harm or something that has been designed to protect and prevent harm. An example of safety is when you wear a seat belt.

Safety education is learning how to deal with emergencies resulting from accidents, learning how to prevent accidents through early removal of hazards [things or situations that can cause harm]

Safety training classes help establish a safety culture in which employees themselves help promote proper safety procedures while on the job. It is important that new employees be properly trained and embrace the importance of workplace safety as it is easy for seasoned workers to negatively influence the new hires.

Safety training aids staff members in identifying safety hazards and addressing them. ... Safety training is crucial for workers gaining a solid knowledge of safety topics associated with their jobs.
