An aromatherapy candle, also known as a candelabra, is an ornamental holder that contains several transparent, concave-shaped arms. LIGHTING: Candles naturally shine because of the refraction of light. In a typical design, the wick is wrapped around some type of decorative center piece, usually in brass or gold. Sometimes they are encased in glass. The entire assembly is then suspended by a cord. E26 have been around since the 1950's, and were originally developed as a replacement for the more common low voltage cordless phones. The e26 was a design which required an incredible amount of skill in order to be manufactured in sufficient quantities, but the end result of their use made them impractical for home use, and replaced them with the CANDELABRA format.
