QUICK QUESTION FOR ALL NIGERIANS by ChiefSosa(m): 9:15am On Jul 08, 2021
Ladies and gentlemen. Firstly, be aware that i do have a weird mind and several crazy things pop up from time to time.
So, this question's been bugging me for some hours now, especially with the way Nigeria is. We all know out BIGGEST problem in Nigeria is Money. For decades, our problems have been relating to money in one way or the other.

Our current debt is around $100Billion.

So, my question is:
If Nigeria breaks up today and every region goes their separate ways, who will now pay Nigeria's debts??
Who will pay back all the billions that the government has been borrowing since?
Or will they share it per region? 'Cause I can't imagine starting a new region with debts.

How will the debt be shared? Will they deduct some money from our bank accounts to pay part of the debt? Or each Local government chairman will be going from house to house with box, dancing like university students on Rags day so as to get some money to pay part of the debt?
SmartPolician:

Nigeria will never break up.

The country will start to enjoy some relative peace the moment the daft oldie in Aso Rock leaves.

Buhari is not Nigeria what Abacha once represented - a colossal disaster.

Isusugbaghada:

Although am not among those who believe in Nigeria breakup but your question is very important

I must say

How I wish someone can answer it
Some people gave me their comments previously, new comments are welcome.

If for any reason Nigeria breaks up, all those terms will be defined, including where the land borders and territorial waters end.

On the other hand, if the country didn't experience a peaceful balkanization, this will be a nightmare. Even China will not come for their money because the whole world will be looking for a way to feed a population of 200 million.

That's why no rational Nigerian should be calling for war. Even the United Nations has been struggling to feed Yemen for nearly 6 years now. I thank God for people like Bill Gates whose relentless efforts have been feeding tens of thousands around the world.
