I find this very hard to believe how can a big company like multichoice not pay any tax since all the years it has been operating in Nigeria? My problem is we in Nigeria keep painting these companies as alien but these companies employ 90% Nigerians. Nigerians run their finance department in charge of paying taxes. Instead the nigerian officials conive with FIRS officials to pay little or no taxes. Tomorrow we will start blaming foreign companies. In their books they are paying taxes but naija.
Until EFCC is not limited to probing big stolen money corruption will thrive. One small boy or girl in FIRS or MCN will own big houses, flashy cars living large on corrupt practices.
