Imo House of Assembly was turned into a war zone on Thursday 8th July 2021 after some house members pulled short guns and started shooting sporadically in the house. In a viral amateur video made available to 9News Nigeria, the house was set in total chaos as house members and staff were running helter-skelter in a bid to save their lives from the shooting. Over 10 gunshots were heard as house members and staff scamper for their lives. While we are still gathering details on this incident, no loss of life was recorded as at the time of filing this report.
