A video has gone viral on social media which showed a pastor identified as Abel Domina of Abel Damina Ministry and Power City International, stressing that “hallelujah” is not a heavenly language

Pastor Abel made this known while preaching on a topic he themed, “Who Is God”.

The clergyman stressed that “speaking in tongues” is the actual heavenly language and not “Hallelujah”.

He said;

In the days of Moses, people worship many things call God. That’s why when you read the Bible, you will come across ‘Lord God’. The word could mean a judge. Remember that the Bible was written within human culture.

The Bible is not an abstract book that fell from the sky. It was written based on what happened in time in the interaction between God and man, men and men, circumstances, events etc. This is because it was written in human language.

“Since the Bible was written in human language, like the way people sing in church, “Hallelujah is our heavenly language’, stop that. Don’t let illiteracy UnCloth you in public. How can Hallelujah be heavenly language, what makes it heavenly in the first place? It is human language.

If you want the heavenly language, speak in tongues. Therefore, speaking in tongue is heavenly language”.

This man is just looking for how to Trend

Let’s not forget that so many things that happened in the Bible especially Old Testament was unexplainable

E.g ELIJAH called fire from heaven

Four men where seen in the fire

JACOB wrestled with an Angel

Moses saw God

What if these encounters and so possibly so many encounters revealed that HALLELUJAH is divine and a Heavenly language?

This one that is used to seeing ANGEL’s in Nigerian movies only wants to lecture me undecided

Abel Damina is intoxicated with words. He actually knows how to talk but doesn't know what he is talking.

Thought he would have given the meaning of the word Hallelujah. But NO!

Himself is deluded. Speaking in tongues being an heavenly language? Know. Even on the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit first arrived, signaled by tongues of fire and speaking strange languages, they were actually speaking earthly tongues hence everyman that gathered could hear them speak his native language (Acts 2:1 - 18 )

Ironically i speak in Kingdom-class tongues as was received at the upper room by the disciples of Christ, and Hallelujah is among the utterances the Holy Spirit gives.

There's also Hosannah which Christ was called on Earth!

So I believe both words are heavenly and it's actually this comment that was borne out of ignorance.

When the Spirit of God truly speaks and not man, no Word He says is in vain or falls to the ground. He is the Spirit of God and His Voice is another means of expressing His Power and Potency, so He could be working wonders and solving problems somewhere on Earth, even though this may be unknown to the vessel He's using.

God bless.

Are humans not heaven on earth?

The same way we think that speaking in tongues is heavenly language, speaking openly with language that men can understand is even more heavenly.

Please the Jewish Hallelujah is heavenly language.
Yoruba is heavenly language
Hause is heavenly language
Igbo heavenly language
English, Spanish, French, Chinese,Russian, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Hindi, Malay, Dutch, Turkish, Roman, Italia, Marathi, Guatemala, all the languages, name it.

They are all heavenly language

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Hebrew is a language spoken by a particular group of folks on earth. So why is speaking in tongues of Heaven? If my gift is speaking a Russian dialect for example, how is that "heavenly"? undecided

Incorrect! All the above are earthly languages and earthly tongues of men, conceivably beginning at Babel - where GOD baffled the people (at least because of pride I believe), causing different languages and a dispersion of the people over the world. - Read Genesis 11:1-9

"Baffle means to confuse, bewilder, perplex, or confound. The word usually implies that such confusion causes someone to come to standstill—that it stumps them or makes them completely bewildered"

Remember -
"Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall." - Proverbs 16:18
"But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” - James 4:6

For the record - "Hallelujah, also spelled alleluia, Hebrew liturgical expression meaning “praise ye Yah” (“praise the Lord”)." and "is an interjection used as an expression of gratitude and adoration"

"Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Yah, And rejoice before Him." - Psalm 68:4

++++++++

1). GOD, The Holy Spirit gives/can give us the ability to speak in different earthly languages to other people - as was evident when the Apostles preached to thousands of people in Jerusalem, of which 3000 became saved at Pentecost:

"And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” - Acts 2: 5-12

2). GOD, The Holy Spirit also gives/can give us the ability to reverently speak to GOD in prayer in a Heavenly tongue that one - even the speaker - cannot understand - unless he/she is given the gift of interpretation! (1 Corinthians 12:10)
"For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. They are all heavenly language" - 1 Corinthians 14:2

"Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." - Romans 8:26

*** Remember, if you believe that you are in fact speaking in a heavenly tongue - then you should have an interpreter so that those who are hearing you can understand and be properly edified (that is morally and/or intellectually instructed and improved)! If not, then you should pray to GOD! ***

"I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all; yet in the church I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I may teach others also, than ten thousand words in a tongue." - 1 Corinthians 14:18-20

"Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those who believe. Therefore if the whole church comes together in one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those who are uninformed or unbelievers, will they not say that you are out of your mind? But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all. And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you." - 1 Corinthians 14:22-25

just because the apostles started speaking in tongues when the holy spirit came upon them, so it become a heavenly language, which type of speaking in tongues is he talking about? remember the word in act 2 vs 8; and how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

are you now telling me that those people hearing them speak in their own tongue wherein they were born, born in heaven? or are you telling me that the people who said these were angels?
