Most people dont know he was Tuface's ghost song writer,a lot of those Tuface's hits like "enter the place,implication, ma lo ro pe omo pewo nikan loma lowo" etc were written by him and W4 his protege from the same Satellite T hood . Many people may not know this but he started out as a poet. Playing with words that ryhme. First time I saw him perform I was a student in Unilag and I saw the intelligence in him. The ability to come up with the ryhmes and making the audience laugh at the same time. He later "upgraded" to singing. Listen to him and see the intelligence in the man. What a loss. Whenever I try to put naija “ s issues into perspective , “Gengen” and “koleyewon” have always been my go to songs. I felt personal kinship with him as he got into music about the same time I was in university and he was in university too. Man this is just too sad. gengen - Sani come Dey do overskill e no know say na himself he go kill…. Koleyewon: dem tell say education is the key to open ,but I get the key the door no gree open How could I forget the 2004 “Campus Queen “ movie with Tunde Kelani? And your work with young aspiring musicians through TalentHouse? You were an absolute legend to me . The kind of example these new cats sorely need at this time.
