The King of Kogi, King Trinity Ayo Balogun joins the world to celebrate the life and times of Nigeria first female flying combatant pilot, Flying Officer Tolulope Sarah Arotile on her one year rememberance.
In his remembrance message made available through his Chief Press Secretary, Martha Eromi Samuel, he said " For the brief time she spent on earth, Tolulope was a torch bearer and a pathfinder. She was a daredevil in the fight against insurgency. It is so sad we lost her when the Nation needs heroines like her.
He further said "Her family, friends, Kogi state, and the entire Nation will forever miss her. Her life which is a brief candle should be celebrated.
I salute the Kogi state Government and Comrade Rotimi Churchy Olanrewaju for shouldering the responsibility of commemorating her memory. Her story will serve as a light at the end of the tunnel.
