The Eastern Security Network, ESN, is the armed wing of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, who are agitating for a sovereign state of Biafra. The Eastern Security Network was formed by the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who according to him, the reason for the formation of ESN is to defend the south east from Fulani herdmen terrorising them.
