Yeah, you read it right. God wouldn't do it. Stop wasting your time and waiting on him to.
People need to stop saying phrases like: "May God help us in this country o", "May God save us o", "Na only God fit save naija o", "Baba God na your hand we dey o", etc STOP IT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!. It's becoming stale/cliché. God wouldn't help Nigeria; he's got other sensible and worthwhile things to do. Plus, he has given us EVERYTHING we need to succeed as a Nation. God has cut soap for Nigeria. What else do you want from him?

Some of Nigeria's numerous problems include:
Corruption, Insecurity, Debt, Bad leaders, Bad education system, Inequality, Poverty, Hunger,Bad roads, Bad health care facilities, Unemployment, Lawlessness, Cultism, Bad infrastructure, Fraud, etc
Now let me ask:HOW EXACTLY DO YOU WANT GOD TO HELP NIGERIA SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS?
How exactly do you want God to solve corruption, did he contribute to it? Did he gain from it?
What about bad roads, do you expect God to help Nigeria construct good roads or fill potholes? What about debt, do you expect him to pay? Do you expect him to make our currency worthwhile, when he wasn't part of those that made it useless? God didn't tell you to join cult or do crime, so why are you telling him to save you? Did God elect bad leaders for Nigeria, so why telling him to save us from such leaders? Does God have PVC, did you see him on the queue collecting bribe to vote for bad leaders? Do you expect God to give the unemployed youth Jobs? Are you ready to die and start helping the Angels in heaven to wash their white robes? Do you have enough Bar soap and Detergent to go there to wash?
There's several other problems and God didn't get us here, we got our selves here, especially the people ruining the country, for some embarrassing and temporary gains.
Yes, God predicted these things as signs of the last days e.g. hunger, poverty, violence, increased crime rate, etc But, there's SEVERAL countries that have greatly subdued the effects of these things, what happened to Nigeria??
Fact is: We have NO excuse as a nation and God isn't to be blamed. He had provided us EVERYTHING we need to succeed, just like he gave other developed nations.
God taught us how to fish, gave us the fish, provided us with what to cook the fish and now we're standing around with the fish, waiting for God to cook and feed us. Imagine!!!
EVERYTHING developed countries are using to develop their country are on Earth; not in heaven. The satellites and other things in space were made by HUMANS and put there by HUMANS. Only other planets, asteroids, meteorites, fragments, etc were met by humans that got there.

NIGERIANS ARE THE PROBLEM
Negatively minded Nigerians are the problems with Nigeria.
The ones:
The ones that collect money to vote the wrong party. The ones that sold their souls for favors. The ones that see black and say it is white. The ones that do not seek proper enlightenment before rooting for a person/party. The ones supporting incompetent leaders, even when they see the incompetency staring them in the face. The ones that'll not elect due to qualification, but due to favoritism, tribe or religion. The ones that oppress or make fun of the oppressed when they speak up. The ones that are corrupt officials. The ones that are bias. The ones that refuse to speak up when they see wrong things. The ones that are disturbing the innocent and peace loving civilians. The ones twisting religion to do evil. The ones destroying infrastructures.
ALL these ones and many other ones need to change,both online and offline. Just like you, i myself have my own fault(s) that should be worked on.
CONCLUSION:
Stop saying "May God help us o", let's help ourselves first. Stop saying "Baba God na your hand we dey o", put things in your own hands. How many things do you want us to put in his hands. God is NOT going to do anything to solve any of our problems as a Nation if we're waiting on him. He has provided EVERYTHING including the brain power to figure things out and help ourselves as a Nation. STOP praying for a Nation that the people in charge have refused to do anything. Developed nations did not wait for God.
STOP disturbing God with unnecessary prayers when you're not taking actions.
