Examples of lies by Moslem authorities include:
1. The Gospel of Barnabas
2. The Koran has been miraculously preserved to the word, letter, and dot
3. The scientifically miraculous Koran (and hadith...etc)
4. The Bible is completely corrupted and/or lost
5. The Koran is the eternal word of Allah
6. Attacking Christianity is (not) how you defend your religion
7. Mohamed is the best example we can follow

1. The Gospel of Barnabas
In spite of careful scholarly research on the manuscript, Moslems continue to use the "Gospel of Barnabas" in polemic against the Bible. In the introduction to their 1907 translation of the book, Lonsdale and Laura Ragg listed the basic reasons why the manuscript must be considered a forgery. However, a number of Moslem publishing houses published the translation WITHOUT the Raggs' introduction, instead claiming the book's authenticity - Gordon Nickel, The Gentle Answer to the Muslim Accusation of Biblical Falsification (Calgary: Bruton Gate, 2016, kindle).

I recommend the book for every Christian to every Christian who truly knows the Truth of God and is not afraid of Knowledge. It reveals the extent to which islam has attempted to insert itself into the Christian narrative in order to obtain reverence where Christians are concerned. undecided

This is in no way an attempt to endorse the bashing of muslims and their Allah. undecided

Jesus Christ, the Law we live by, taught us to not engage in such such as He commanded , "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces. - Matthew 7 vs 8 "

Lol don't deceive yourself bro. which of the Muslim authorities endorsed gospel of Barnabas stop cooking false stories in your head?

Gospel of Barnabas as well as other Gospels books in your Bible are under the same category non of them has an author that can be traced nor eyewitnesses they copied from so non of the Gospel books is reliable?

If you are not being an hypocrite debates with Muslims on this forum, how many Muslims have quoted from "Gospel of Barnabas" to support their claims?

What is the criteria of making Gospel book canonical and some non canonical, if you claim Muslims wrote "Gospel of barnabas" who wrote "Gospel of Mary, Gospel of Thomas, Gospel of truth, Gospel ofJudas e.t.c of which non made it to your Bible, we're they written by Muslims too or your fellow Christians?

The Quran is enough for me as a Muslim to defend my religion, I cant follow a book of no known source like (Gospel of Mathew, Luke, John, Mark, Barnabas, Mary, Truth, Thomas, Judas e.t.c)

If the Gospel is not lost I dare you to name the eye witnesses who witnessed Jesus life who wrote the Gospel books or the documents the authors of the canonical Gospels copied from?

Even the Early Jewish Christians ( Nazarenes) whom Paul persecuted before claiming to see Jesus and injecting falsehood in the Gospel had a contradictory view to the teachings of Paul?

Gospel was only revealed to Jesus while alive so anyone even the real disciples of Jesus must not add or subtract from the account of Jesus?

Why must the Bible (Gospel) contain letter of Paul to churches is he another Jesus, what does Paul know about Jesus he wasn't his disciples while alive?

Even the earliest canonical Gospel which is "Gospel of Mark" stopped at chapter 16 verse 8 or so it did not give the ressurection account of Jesus of which it was later added some decades later. Why should I trust the ressurection account subsequent Gospel books?

Which means this verse is a fabrication of the Gospel of mark

Mark 16
17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.

Why should I trust any of the canonical Gospels?

Kindly drink sniper or hypo let's see if it won't hurt you like your imaginary Jesus said.

On drinking poison:
Jesus said "You should not tempt the Lord your God". If a person takes hypo to drink and claim the verse you quoted he will fall into the category of tempting the Lord his God.

On trusting the canonical Gospels:
1. The four authors convey the same basic message about Jesus. Why is that important? If you had four people tell you the same story, wouldn’t you tend to believe it? While each Gospel gives different details, they all tell the same essential story.

2. The message of the Gospels was proclaimed by Paul within twenty years of Jesus’ death. It is true that we don’t know the exact dates when the Gospels were written. In general, scholars place them in the first century, with estimates ranging from AD 60-95 or 30 to 65 years after Jesus lived. But here is what Paul wrote to the Corinthians:

"Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. . . For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born". (1 Corinthians 15:3-8

3. Archaeological discoveries support the historical accuracy of details in the Gospels. While archaeology gives us a window to the past, it’s limited for the following reasons: it can’t reproduce events, only a relatively small number of remains have been discovered, the remains have to be interpreted. With the limitations of archaeology understood, we can say that this field of research has been favorable to the Gospels. While the list of discoveries is constantly growing, here are a few items worth mentioning.

Pilate stone, discovered in Caesarea in 1961. The reconstructed inscription reads, “Pontius Pilate, Prefect of Judea.” The Gospels attest to Pilate’s rule in Judea during Jesus’ lifetime (Mark 15).

First-century synagogue in Capernaum discovered in 1968 (Mark 1:21).

Remains of a first-century crucifixion victim found in 1968 in an ossuary (bone box) with the name Yohanan on it. An iron nail with olive wood was embedded in the ankle bone. Yohanan’s legs were crushed which corresponds with John 19:31-32.

Sea of Galilee boat discovered in 1986 at the bottom of the lake and dating to the time of Jesus.

Coins with the names of the Herod family—the kings who ruled in Israel during Jesus’ lifetime.

Nazareth home discovered in 2009 and dates to the time of Jesus.

Caiaphas’ ossuary or bone box (John 18:14) discovered in 1990 and dates to the time of Jesus. The words, “Joseph, son of Caiaphas” were inscribed on the side. (Some have challenged the authenticity of this discovery.)

4. Ancient authors support the basic account of Jesus’ life as found in the Gospels. First, we know key details about Jesus and his followers from sources outside the New Testament. Second, none of the information we learn from non-biblical writers contradicts anything in the four Gospels. Here are four examples along with a list of main points for each.

“so he assembled the sanhedrim of judges, and brought before them the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ, whose name was James, and some others, [or, some of his companions]; and when he had formed an accusation against them as breakers of the law, he delivered them to be stoned”[1]  – Flavius Josephus (c. AD 37-100) – Jewish Historian

Jesus was called Christ.

James was the brother of Jesus.

James and his companions were accused and stoned.

“Christians . . . asserted, however, that the sum and substance of their fault or error had been that they were accustomed to meet on a fixed day before dawn and sing responsively a hymn to Christ as to a god, and to bind themselves by oath, not to some crime, but not to commit fraud, theft, or adultery, not falsify their trust, nor to refuse to return a trust when called upon to do so.”[2]  – Pliny the Younger (c. AD 63-113) – Provincial Governor

Christians had the custom of meeting on a fixed day of the week before dawn.

During their meeting, they sang a hymn to Christ as to a god.

They committed themselves to live moral lives.

“But not all the relief that could come from man, not all the bounties that the prince could bestow, nor all the atonements which could be presented to the gods, availed to relieve Nero from the infamy of being believed to have ordered the conflagration, the fire of Rome. Hence to suppress the rumor, he falsely charged with the guilt, and punished Christians, who were hated for their enormities. Christus, the founder of the name, was put to death by Pontius Pilate procurator of Judea in the reign of Tiberius: but the pernicious superstition, repressed for a time broke out again, not only through Judea, where the mischief originated, but through the city of Rome also, where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the world find their center and become popular. Accordingly, an arrest was first made of all who pleaded guilty; then, upon their information, an immense multitude was convicted, not so much of the crime of firing the city, as of hatred against mankind.”[3]  – Tacitus (c. AD 56-117) – Roman Historian

Nero accused Christians for the fire in Rome.

Christians were hated.

The founder of the Christians was Christus (Christ).

Christus was put to death by Pontius Pilate, who was the procurator of Judea during the reign of Tiberius.

The Christian faith originated in Judea.

The Christian faith spread throughout the city of Rome.

An “immense multitude” of Christians in Rome were convicted.

“The Christians . . . worship a man to this day—the distinguished personage who introduced their novel rites, and was crucified on that account. . . . [It] was impressed on them by their original lawgiver that they are all brothers, from the moment that they are converted, and deny the gods of Greece, and worship the crucified sage, and live after his laws.”[4]  – Lucian (c. AD 120-180) – Writer

Christians worship a man.

That man introduced their novel rites.

That man was crucified.

That man, who was “their original lawgiver,” impressed on them that they are all brothers from the moment of their conversion.

Christians deny the gods of Greece.

Christians worship a crucified sage.

Christians live after the laws of the crucified sage.

So, in summary, we see that:
1. Christianity has four (4) testimonies concerning Jesus. Islam has only that of one (1) man, Mohamed, concerning its religion.

2. Paul preached the same CORE doctrines of Christianity as other apostles did. The Christian faith stands or falls on the life of Jesus of Nazareth. Without his life Christianity doesn’t exist. It is not based on 'dos' and 'don'ts'

3. Archeology confirms Christianity. NO ARCHEOLOGICAL SUPPORT EXISTS TODAY IN MECCA TO SUPPORT ISLAM'S CLAIM IN ITS BOOKS ABOUT THAT CITY. I challenge you to show us if any exist.

4. Independent secular writers confirm the account of Jesus' life found in the Gospels. AGAIN, NO INDEPENDENT HISTORICAL RECORDS CORROBORATING MOHAMED'S LIFE EXISTS IN SPITE OF ARAB INTERACTIONS WITH MANY OTHER EMPIRES AND NATIONS.

2. The Koran has been miraculously preserved to the word, letter, and dot.
This has been repeatedly debunked by Moslem sources themselves. Moslem sources talk about lost verses, conflicting readings, conflicting number of suras, canonizations centuries after Mohamed, differences within the canonized readings, and differences with the various students who transmitted those readings.
Yet the lie of perfect preservation has continued to be spread.
Re: Muslim Authorities: Oh How They Lie! by sagenaija: 10:48am On Jul 17, 2021
3. The scientifically miraculous Koran (and hadith...etc)
A commission set up by Moslem authorities to look into this showed it to be an intellectual embarrassment.
Yet Moslems still continue to use this.
Re: Muslim Authorities: Oh How They Lie! by sagenaija: 12:43pm On Jul 19, 2021
4. The Bible is completely corrupted and/or lost
This is the narrative that Moslem authorities have indoctrinated their followers with in spite of the Koran itself affirming the preservation, reliability and authority of the Torah and Gospel many, many, many, many, many times.

Even Moslems favourite scholar Bart Ehrman affirms the reliability of the Bible when he said: "The position I argue for in 'Misquoting Jesus' does not actually stand at odds with Prof. Metzger's position that the ESSENTIAL CHRISTIAN BELIEFS ARE NOT AFFECTED by textual variants in the manuscript tradition of the New Testament" - Bart Ehrman, Misquoting Jesus, (p. 252).

5. The Koran is the eternal word of Allah
The Koran DID NOT drop down from heaven. Several pre-Islamic traditions made their way into the Koran. Most of these are very conspicuous. And they were around before the Koran. The Koran utilized already existing materials around at its time rather than a fresh or completely new information from God.
Re: Muslim Authorities: Oh How They Lie! by sagenaija: 11:51am On Jul 28, 2021
6. Attacking Christianity is (not) how you defend your religion
If Moslems aren't busy making the Koran say what they want it to and calling their own sources "weak" in order not to deal with them, they are busy using another very popular tactic.

Moslem authorities have perfected this tactic - where they can't defend their religion then attack Christianity. But this tactic make them look very weak, showing that they are simply attempting to divert attention from issues in their religion.
Re: Muslim Authorities: Oh How They Lie! by sagenaija: 12:24pm On Aug 07, 2021
7. Mohamed is the best example we can follow
It's like Moslems don't like being lied to by their leaders, actually, they love it because they don't care about the truth as long as it defends Islam.

A Moslem leader needs to start to fear his position in the Moslem community as soon as he starts to speak the truth.
A case in point : Yasir Qadhi - when he came out with the 'Holes in the Narratives' interview polemists pounced on him, primarily because of two (2) reasons:
1. Qadhi appears to be openly contradicting the lie he had preached on the perfect preservation of the Koran.
2. It was an example of a prominent Moslem authority being 'HONEST' although intentionally vague about a very sensitive issue.
Other Moslems started bashing him, not for telling a lie but for telling the truth.
Many Moslem authorities mislead their followers.
Jesus in referring to such leaders during his time said:
"Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves " - Matthew 23:15

An honest examination of the life of Mohamed comes up with the fact that there are indeed many questionable things in his life which should not be emulated. Majority of Moslems will not agree that marrying a 6 year old, raiding caravans, murdering people simply for verbal assault, the massacre of about 800 Jews, owning sex slaves and having about a dozen wives at the same time are things to be emulated. It is therefore interesting that while Mohamed is put forward as the example to be followed there are many aspects of his life that majority of Moslems will clearly not be able to follow.
