Its not his fault na... I blame TRCN.. If they made it mandatory that before you teach anywhere (private or public), you must have NCE/B.ed and TRCN certificate, then when they see many of their Bsc siblings or colleagues sitting at home for like 2/3byears doing nothing and can't be employed to teach, then they'd not be saying rubbish...

for ur info, i am an educationist but I work in a bank as a certified banking professional by the chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
What we r saying is simple, if u want to use education, do it right. Get a PGDE!

No one never dispute that fact....if banking sector can lower it's regulations to ur advantage by achieving ur professional cert while on the job then why not this. The ideal act for a level playing field is not using Education as a barrier rather give room for some months course in PGDE before full conversion to teachers. Atleast a sister state(Oyo) just did that of recent

Only corp members with edu degrees should teach and every other corp member shud be posted according to their course of study.
But Nigerians are not comfortable with any organised system.
