*Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement (EBAM) has eulogized Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii (Omezuruoha 1 of Isuokoma) The CEO Ultimus Holdings and the Founder, Ebele and Anyichuks Foundation for his deliberate and avowed commitment towards actualising the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2 which targets to “End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture by 2030.”*


In a press statement made available to newsmen in a media forum in Awka, Anambra State, Peace Ambassador, Timothy Nwachukwu, The National President, Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement (EBAM) extolled the benefactor of Ebele and Anyichuks Foundation, Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii for supporting 84 Ebonyi Farmers with twenty four million three hundred thousand naira (#24,300,000.00) over the weekend.


*Peace Ambassador Timothy Nwachukwu stated that extreme poverty and hunger are predominantly rural, with smallholder farmers and their families making up a very significant proportion of the poor and hungry. Thus, eradicating poverty and hunger are integrally linked to boosting food production, agricultural productivity and rural incomes.*

He further opined that there is an inter linkages between supporting sustainable agriculture, empowering small farmers, promoting, ending rural poverty, ensuring healthy lifestyles, tackling climate change, and other issues addressed within the set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals.


Peace Ambassador Timothy Nwachukwu listed the United Nations Sustainable development goal two targets to include, By 2030, to end hunger and ensure access by all people, in particular the poor and people in vulnerable situations including infants, to safe, nutritious and sufficient food all year round

By 2030, end all forms of malnutrition, including achieving by 2025 the internationally agreed targets on stunting and wasting in children under five years of age, and address the nutritional needs of adolescent girls, pregnant and lactating women, and older persons

By 2030, double the agricultural productivity and the incomes of small-scale food producers, particularly women, indigenous peoples, family farmers, pastoralists and fishers, including through secure and equal access to land, other productive resources and inputs, knowledge, financial services, markets, and opportunities for value addition and non-farm employment.
