when buying shock absorbers, is it better to buy new ones or tokunbo which is more durable? thank you

Nothing like tokunbo,it's refurbished,if your mechanic likes u,he might scam u of 5k,but if they he or she hates u,he go inflate price go up. Toyota shocks na like 30k,lexus like 45k,.if them say na 100k or 80k. Run

KYB is a very good brand, just be careful of cloned KYB shocks been sold as original KYB
