The fact is that the ijaw has some sort vaulting political ambitions and are always thinking that the igboman stands in their way to political supremacy in the former Eastern Nigeria. Isaac Boro brought in the federal troops from the flanks and Diette-Spiffs finished off with the "Abandoned property" saga. Yet, The igbos don't seem to rate them that much so you seldom see any commensurate attempt to push back on their wayward aggressive posturing...

It's this laughable belief that they can use the North and the federal might to achieve political dominance in the east that led them to bring in the fulani to help them fight off all perceived regional obstacles..
