The following are the ten Premier League clubs that have made the most money via transfer sales. We've looked at which clubs have made the most money by selling off talent, and how much they raked in for selling off players from the 2015/16 season to date. thanks to Liverpool's £10.5 million for a player who only made eight appearances for them. All data is derived from the fantastic transfer market.

10) West Ham United - £222.34 million
Expenditure on transfers: £423.63 million

Balance left: £-201.29 million

The most expensive transfers were Dimitri Payet (£26.37 million to Marseille), Marko Arnautovic (£22.5 million to Shanghai SIPG), and Andre Ayew (£20.52 million to Swansea).

Albian Ajeti (£4.95m to Celtic), Jordan Hugill (£2.97m to Norwich), and Reece Oxford (£1.8m to Augsburg) are the biggest transactions with fewer than 10 Premier League games.

9) Arsenal - £226.40 million
Expenditure on transfers: £579.10 million

Balance left: £-352.70 million

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (£34.2 million to Liverpool), Alexis Sanchez (£30.6 million to Manchester United in exchange for Henrikh Mkhitaryan), and Alex Iwobi (£27.36 million to Everton) are the most expensive transfers.

Krystian Bielik (£7.38m to Derby), Serge Gnabry (£4.5m to Werder Bremen), and Jon Toral (£2.97m to Hull) are the biggest sales with fewer than 10 Premier League appearances.

Virgil Van Dijk (£76.19m to Liverpool), Sadio Mane (£37.8m to Liverpool), and Morgan Schneiderlin (£33.75m to Manchester United) are the most expensive transfers.

Sam Johnstone (£6.2m to West Brom), Angelo Henriquez (£1.5m to Dinamo Zagreb), and Reece James (£1.26m to Wigan) are the biggest sales with fewer than 10 Premier League appearances.

5) Tottenham Hotspur - £307.65 million
Expenditure on transfers: £483.30 million.

Balance left: £-175.65 million.

Kyle Walker (£47.43mto Manchester City), Christian Eriksen (£24.3m to Inter Milan), and Kieran Trippier (£19.8m to Atletico Madrid) were the most expensive transfers.

Alex Pritchard (£8.46m to Norwich), Clinton N'Jie (£6.3m to Marseille), and DeAndre Yedlin (£5.3m to Newcastle) are the biggest sales with fewer than 10 Premier League appearances.

4) Leicester City - £314.89 million
Expenditure on transfers: £501.52 million.

Balance left: £-186.63 million.

The three most expensive transfers were Harry Maguire (£78.3 million to Manchester United), Riyad Mahrez (£61.2 million to Manchester City), and Ben Chilwell (£45.18 million to Chelsea).

Tom Lawrence (£4.5m to Derby), Ron-Robert Zieler (£3.6m to Stuttgart), and Chris Wood (£3.24m to Leeds) are the biggest transactions with fewer than 10 Premier League appearances.

3) Manchester City - £380.87 million.
Transfer expenditure: £1.04 billion.

The most expensive transfers were Leroy Sane (£40.5 million to Bayern Munich), Danilo (£33.3 million to Juventus), and Shaun Wright-Phillips (£23.5 million to Chelsea).

Angelino (£16.2m to RB Leipzig), Brahim Diaz (£15.3m to Real Madrid), and Douglas Luiz (£15.12m to Aston Villa) are the biggest sales with fewer than 10 Premier League games.

2) Liverpool - £448.40 million
Expenditure on transfers: £625.98 million.

Balance left: £-177.58 million.

Philippe Coutinho (£121.50m to Barcelona), Luis Suarez (£73.55m to Barcelona), and Raheem Sterling (£57.33m to Manchester City) are the most expensive transfers.

Rhian Brewster (£23.4m to Sheffield United), Danny Ward (£12.6m to Leicester), and Marko Grujic (£10.5m to Porto) are the biggest sales with fewer than 10 Premier League games.
