You make it sound as if flooding started in 2021.

The lockdown lasted only a few months and it wasn't even a total lockdown. Many industries were still operating and the biggest polluters such as the US and China did not even totally lock down. How will a partial lockdown around the world for 5 months offset the effect of 100 years of pollution?
