Last one Yr, many industries all over the world were shut down because of covid. People were indoor yet the heat wave this ur is higher, flooding the same.

There is nothing we can do that can reverse or stop climate change at this point.

Mankind has to change its ways of winners take all in pursuit of vanity and seek harmony with nature. Humans are speeding up the destruction of the earth by reaping it apart, inside out in the name of advancement and comfort.

Harmful substances in water, soil and air contribute greatly to the destruction of the environment, and china with its insatiable hunger for industrialisation and high-speed advancement is a major contributor to environmental pollution and degradation.

Africans on the other hand are busy fighting tribal wars and killing one another like cannibals, and completely oblivious of the devastating effects of climate change. A natural disaster like this can wipe out an entire unprotected city like Lagos or Onitsha.

Are you insinuating that the God who created the earth and man with all the potentials embedded in him will be unaware of his capabilities. All you mentioned were derivatives of nature itself, electricity whether from hydro or wind or gas or carbon deposit.

What I do notice is that societies that spend their time understanding and interpreting scripture rarely have time to live in the now and discover, harness, and invent ways to use nature productively. Ironically the West was at its most religious during the Dark Ages.

What I am insinuating is that scripture has no relevancy to this flood. Rainwater floods underground tunnel.. big surprise. Guess what, it can be solved with drainage and pumps. It's been done in countless places.

What next, the countless volcanoes we've had over millennia, including this one, are a "sign of the times" too?
