They should have seize some of his assets, deprive him of some freedom, like prevent him from traveling outside the country if that is one of the things he valued etc. not directly putting him in a fist class cell. The man is still enjoying his life where he is while many innocent individuals have been rendered hopeless for the rest of their lives.
Can the government restore everything to normal? Can it pay for all the properties destroyed or bring back the dead? Common sense they say is not common at times, especially when it comes to the supposed elites.
