We have more employees than most states in Nigeria and we have owed them or taken bank overdrafts once.

”Well, you don’t need so much Mathematics to know a thousand buildings; that is not 1000 Naira each, that is not 10 Million (Naira) each, that is not 12 Million (Naira) each, that is not 14 Million (Naira) each. Some are 35 Million (Naira). At a go!

”We have never seen it ourselves. We just watched God doing it.The only criteria: How many souls have they gotten there? Then, build for them.

Sincerely, on that part of those guys being unfriutful, he is actually right and I support his action to lay them off.
Many of them should have resigned to face whatever is holding back their lives from being unfruitful instead of waiting to get sacked. I may be wrong, but I see a tone of arrogance in how the Bishop responded. Some of the

In a way, the bishop is right. Even God commanded fruitfulness in Genesis 1. Unfruitfulness shouldn't be tolerated for too long.

But I sense a hint of arrogance in his speech...He shouldn't forget his humble beginnings and how many years it took him to bring the church to its exalted status.

If I was bishop I probably would have sounded arrogant.
Despising humble beginning and forgetting it have no link. One is scriptural the other emotional.

People think church is football business where everybody has a valid opinion.
