Ayomarcel, you will find this moniker on Nairaland yourself if you search it directly the way I wrote it here.

He was demanding for fiction writers and I kindly applied. I assidiously wrote 3 fiction stories for him having 3,500 words each.

Now, we got to the level of "let me send the work and receive payment." Ayomarcel is a pathological liar. He kept on postponing for several months (imagine, I had to be patient oh) that his client didn't pay and we should wait.

After waiting, he brought up excuses that he can't pay because the Chinese didn't send money for the month I sent in my story. I felt it that it was a lie so I had to start threatening Mr Ayomarcel (I will post his real name within some minutes).

I guess the fright moved him so he paid. But that was only N12,000 (for two stories), he didn't pay for the third. Now, the third was so elaborate, titled "Aficionado".

I explained to Mr Ayomarcel that how can I write a story and you tell me I can go and throw it away, that he can't accept it or I should do anything I like with it or sell online. Is that possible?! How can I just sell fiction online when there is no particular payment set for it and there is no security. What if the buyer runs away with my money?

I sent the story to him and talked with in the best, most respectable and humanly way, still Mr Ayomarcel chose not to pay me. Infact, he was so rude.

I resorted to begging but infact, had I not threatened him, he wouldn't have paid the N12,000 for the previous submission. That was what I realized. So, it was then clear he didn't want to pay from the start, if not the threat I made (which was fake), he would have ran away with 7,000 words putting me on the losing end of spending days using my energy, writing, spending money on food, using my brain and extorting me of my rights.
That is very bad.

He blocked me on Whatsapp after making every plea to pay me. He is feeling like a boss.

This is the terrible state of Nairaland. You work for employers and they run away with your money.

I will keep on posting to give detailed proof and all the fraudulent words he sent to me. He ought to have submitted this story months ago and I would have collected payment with the following batch.

His moniker is Official DJ. Stay away from him.

For you coming up here, it means your conscience is guilty.
It doesn't take you anything to pay up this money. You know what you did was wrong.

What I did was wrong?. I told you it takes time for the company to go through hundreds of stories before accepting them. You submitted 3 stories and 2 got accepted and 1 was rejected. What'd you have me do again?. Lol. And, you kept disturbing calling me all sort of names and I had to block you.

You're the only one having problems with every employers here. Don't you think you're either a bad writer who thinks big of himself or you're just a bad employee no one wants to work with.

Are you sure about Brisbanequeen? She's been around for a long time and I can say my experiences with her in time past have been worth it.

Maybe you might just need to fix things between you two but the allegation you have against her is one I am almost forced to disagree with. Not calling you a liar, please.

So, if she doesn't pay you (which I have never witnessed), then the problem may have come from you.

Hi inspectorlawal, I take exception to your putting Brisbanequeen on this list. I have done many jobs for her and she is prompt with her payment.

She pays every forthnight unless she has changed it and will commend your work if it's good.

There are many scammers here on NL and I have met a few. But I believe the problem here is that many writers whose work has been rejected use this forum to throw aspersions on those who rejected their works.

If you're among them, go and brush up on your skills. There are many courses online, free and paid, you can take for this purpose.

Once again, I put it to you that Brisbanequeen is not a scammer. At least I can testify to that.
