Job Role: Audit Manager
Location: Lagos

Primary Responsibilities:

Audit:
Plan an audit from engagement to conclusion by preparing the audit program, procedures and implementation for divers industries especially Oil & Gas. 
Ensure an effective and efficient audit is carried out from Audit program to conclusion.
Involved in the development of junior members of staff including appropriate delegation and provision of regular feedback.
Prepare drafts of the financial statements including group consolidations.
Produce commercial management reports highlighting audit findings.
Address, discuss and advance conclusion in respect of technical and audit issues identified during the course of the audit.

Tax & Advisory:
Prepare tender proposals for potential clients.
Prepare corporate tax computations.
Liaise with in-house tax department on specialist areas such as VAT, R&, employment tax, inheritance tax and property sales.
Assist with advice on group restructuring and the set-up of new companies.
Produce reports to third parties such as banks, other accountancy firms, the FCA and the Charity Commission.
Carry out systems review, development and documentation for clients.

Clients:
Maintain good working relationships with client staff and becomes a key point of contact
Consistently stay updated on the company’s services and offerings in order to spot opportunities for the firm.

Requirements:
Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or a related course of study.
ACA, ACCA qualifications or equivalent.
Strong experience working with an external client base.
Significant experience working in a professional accountancy practice.
Good experience using Microsoft office suite.
Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing deadlines and priorities.
