Do you really mean this or you want me to school you? shocked

Central Yoruba wasn't created, it was only adopted.
Central Yoruba were used From Oyo to Lagos, to Osun to Kwara and Far away Togo.

Just like central Igbo language wasn't created but adopted

The Ngwa people and Ibibio engaged in Palm Oil trade too
Ngwa and Ibibio people too.. Because Jaja didn't want them to trade directly with the Europeans..He wasn't in good terms with them as they didn't give him room to monopolize the trade
All do you want me to tell you that ugwuta now known as oguta are ijaw territory

The first book written containing hundreds of Igbo words and language interpretation was done By Olauda Equiano before Ajayi crowther.. Olauda Equiano was the first Writer to use Igbo language in his books, not Ajayi crowther
I'm talking about a book not some potpourri of confused stories and history

The first book containing Igbo language was written by Olauda Equiano in his Autobiography
The first book authored in Igbo language was Isoama Ibo the Primer. And it was authored by Ajayi Crowther, a Yoruba man.

History can only make sense if it goes side by side with anthropology and archaeology. It has to be traced, tracked, observe and proven for it to make sense. Understanding the past helps to illuminate the present and the future.

You deserve more but start from that one bottle and plate fezz

Investigative:
These were Igbo currencies before the foreigners introduced their own.

It is called "okpogho". The whiteman tagged it as "bracelet manilla"

Another Igbo word for it is "ego igwe" (iron-money)

Iron is smithened to form it. It's of different types. Each has currency discrepancy.

What do I mean? They measure the high currency base on different factors. It could be the weight, the design.

When someone is rich today people will say: "o nwere ego igwe". It is because of this currency. Or you will hear "o nwere okpogho/,okpogo" (he's wealthy)

The other one is ego ayọrọ (cowries). The Igbo migrated from okpogho to ego ayọrọ. It served as money. You exchange goods and services through this.

The word "ego" became prominent following the introduction of coin and paper money.

There is a town in Ezeagụ, Enugwu State called Okpogho. The town is known for producing Okpogho currency. They were like CBN.

Mazi ogbonnaya okoro

I saw a post on Google Wikipedia saying otherwise. See screenshot attached. Thanks.
