I had an encounter with one of the LASIEC officers sometime before the election, the gentleman confessed that it will be very difficult to announce any other party even if they win any of the local elections in Lagos.

The incumbent government of any state in Nigeria determines who wins the local government elections, or rather selections. The blindfolded people have no say on who runs their local governments, and that is why they are not working for the people. The local government in Nigeria, just like all the other arms of government only work for the ruling thieves and their cohorts.

The sun shines for everyone. Political thuggery on the other hand affects everyone negatively, Yoruba or not. You have to be able to relatively organise a free and fair election that will hold the leaders relatively accountable as a society in the 21st century.
