There's no difference between Nigerian motor Machanic and mad man, just like Nigerian police and armed robbers.

Kennydoc:Out of more than 600 MDAs more than 400 are headed by Southerners. The insensitive and dangerous game we play is when a Northerner is appointed they call him quota system but when otherwise they call it meritorious appointment. The dangerous media reporting and bias in Nigeria is the current reporting of all Northern based appointments made by PMB while omitting Southern appointments just to heat the polity. To prove my assertion, why all southern appointments made by PMB are not reported neither in Nairaland or other media houses? Kennydoc:The FG civil servants from Kano, Jigawa, Kebbi, Yobe, & zamfara combined (5114) are not upto those from IMO state alone (5825). All these alleged nepotism or lopsided employment is either a ranting out of ignorance or an outburst that will soon reveal the true case of marginalised Nigerians because more northeners are employed now to balance & check the Federal character system which is one of the core function of the Commission. All those accusing North of depending on govt to earn survive need to wake up & access authentic data not concocted data means to tarnish PMB's image in the south with no authentic data to back their claims. Why are southern media report only appointments involving Northerners? I have complete list of PMB's MDAs appointments from 2015-2020 which clearly evident that South have taken lion share compared to North as shown in the data above. I also have the data containing the statistics of political appointments of PMB also proven Southern Nigeria taking wide margin compared to North. Unfortunately, most educated Nigerians only learn the true nature of political game they're drawn into after govt has finished its tenure, that's when they'll know they're fooled by political tricks. The Director General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dr. Joe Abah, on Friday, disclosed that no fewer than 89, 511 civil servants are in the Federal Government’s employ, across States of the Federation. 89, 511 civil servants in FG’s employ by Nov 2015 – DG BPSR Abah, in a series of tweets via his Twitter handle, @DrJoeAbah said that as at November 2015, States that topped the chat with most civil servants in the Federal Civil Service are Imo (5825), Kogi (5186), Ogun (4669) Delta (4419) and Akwa-Ibom (4416). In percentage, Imo State makes up ( 7 %), Kogi (6 %), Ogun (5% ), Delta (5%) and Akwa Ibom (5%). According to Abah, the Federal Civil Servants by State of Origin read thus: 1. Abia-3579 2. Adamawa-1727 3. Akwa Ibom- 4416 4. Anambra -3576 5. Bauchi -1172 6. Bayelsa -957 7. Benue -3951 8. Borno -1822 9. Cross River- 2681 10. Delta -4419 11. Ebonyi -865 12. Edo- 3890 13. Ekiti -2613 14. Coronabirus: Oga, you are a liar! Which south has taken a lionshare in Buhari's appointments? Do you think we are all dumb and stupid? Imo State probably produces more graduates every year than half of the entire North East states. For that simple reason, they should have more people getting enrolled into the civil service. Most of the states ranked high in terms of numbers have always produced more graduates than most northern states. It had nothing to do with marginalisation against the north. In the same Imo state, there are thousands of graduates riding keke and doing menial jobs. How many graduates in the north roam about without jobs? Because there are fewer northern graduates, most of them are assured of jobs after graduation. So Buhari is trying to balance out things for the north and has decided to completely cut off the South East? He has chosen to keep employing and promoting mostly northerners. Go and check out the highest ranked police officers from IG to commissioners. Over 80% of them are northerners. You think a successful and united nation will be built like this? |

So only Northerners made it on merit on CPs who earned their last promotion in 2018. When the table turns do not complain. Coronabirus: |

GEEBITE:Which table when all is base on merit. Should they promote those who are notduefor promotion because of their geographical location or ethno-religious background? In the next 30yrs the table can never turn down because some people refused to join the institution when others where all over and now the permutation of employment in the force is based on equal number of candidates per state! |

No condition is permanent and nothing absolutely lasts forever even impunity. When it is time for education there is quota but Police promotion now it is merit, very laughable. All these AIGs were promoted to CPs in 2018 and less than 3 years they are AIG . Coronabirus: 1 Like |

GEEBITE:Education? Which education again, tell me a single sector that can't be filled by any state at FG? U need to understand for the last time that when those people were employed ur people were not there as such u can't find them when it's time for promotion. Are they going to promote ghost or sergeant into AIG because he is from South? Why do we complain about everything in Nigeria. How is Quota system a problem? Even ur demigod US uses Racial Quota system in anything they do (latinos, hispanics, blacks, etc). I dnt see how it affects merit or no merit. I think we need to criticize constructively and always try to get a good side of a new development. 1 Like |

Out of 37 CPs at state and fct commands there are 18 southerners. This is not inclusive of those at Force HQ and other zonal commands which should bring the numbers closer to 30. then only 3 are found worthy while 21 from the North even some with only GCE or just promoted in 2019 have been found eminently qualified. Its all good. Who told you southerners are not in police, tell me a state that beats edo in numbers from even the rank and file. USA use of affirmative action isn't absurd like this. They make room for the best from ethnic minorities not people scoring 2 marks out of 300 in high school common entrance. Coronabirus: 1 Like |

JayB11: Lol.... Sorry Bros, but why should someone hate the police when he hasn't committed a crime. If a police man wronged you, I feel one should just pick up the evidence and report him/her to the authorities instead of ranting and throwing insults on a faceless forum. |

haslaw: How on earth is this statement "Police, not my thing" an insult or even a rant? Am i a Police Officer to regard that piece of info as a relevant one to me? Why is this country like this? |
