Senator Anthony Ade­fuye, a Third Republic federal lawmaker and chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday said there was an unwritten gentleman agreement reached by the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders during its formation between the North and South on the ro­tation of the presidency.

Speaking in an interview with Daily Independent, Adefuye, a member of the Governor’s Advisory Coun­cil (GAC) in Lagos State and a delegate to the 2014 Na­tional Conference said he agreed with the position of the Southern governors that the presidency should come to the South in 2023 after President Muhammadu Bu­hari who is from the North­ern part of the country has completed his eight years.

Adefuye said, “In party politics, there is usually no written agreement. But there is a known agreement in APC that the North will rule for two terms of eight years, after that it would be the turn of the South. So, if Buhari had spent two terms that is for the North; it will now come back to the South in 2023.”

Week, let's watch and see if the Fulanis will honour the gentle man agreement they had with their Yoruba brothers, but as an igbo man, I will rather have an agreement with the devil than Fulani's, this people are not trust worthy, they can change their minds an even slaughter you like a ram in the next minute, trust them at your own peril.
