You are either living in the past or living in denial....the north is far better than in 1999 which some people are still stuck. One of the reason many accuse buhari of nepotism is because many belief the North is backwards and northerners are illiterate., and that they are not qualified....(most southerners are so used to everything going south mainly because the north doesnt have much capacity that it seems impossible to have a qualified northerner).
infact there are more literate persons in the north than the south...its just that they are not educated the western way but in the arabic and islamic education...and since the turn of the century northerners have invested heavily in education and as such the north is churning out graduates in their numbers yearly....
