The Portuguese scored a goal on his Real Madrid debut as the club won 3-2 against Deportivo La Coruna...
Cristiano Ronaldo, an all-time great of the game, joined Real Madrid in 2009 from Manchester United for £80 million - a record transfer fee at that time. The Portuguese superstar went on to play nine seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu and broke multiple records.

He won two LaLiga titles and four Champions League trophies in his time at Real Madrid and became the club's all time highest scorer with 451 goals in 438 appearances.

Ronaldo made his debut for the club on August 29, 2009, in the La Liga opener against Deportivo La Coruna. It was a dream debut for the former Manchester United player as he scored a goal from the penalty spot, with the club beginning their campaign on a winning note with a 3-2 win over Deportivo. The other goalscorers were Raul Gonzalez and Lassana Diarra.
