The exchange rate is not static, it fluctuate according to demand.

Imagine today, I save 100 dollar when dollar was 300 naira, that is I used 30k to get 100 dollar.

If tomorrow, a dollar becomes 350 naira, that means i will need more naira to get 100 dollar, 35k to get a 100 dollar, that is a loss for me.

How does it affect my dollar savings?

The fact that I will continue to get more naira to get a dollar to save makes me more poorer and also if dollar continues to increase and inflation increases, when I convert my saved dollar back to naira, inflation would have devalued my money.
