The questions is that why dont basketballers and footballers fail the tests. Are they exempted from those tests? Lol. This is to shou you that these runners, swimmers and other "tiny" sports participants are mostly cheats Footballers kick the ball 3 to 4 times weekly, so they dont even participate in such rubbish. These athletes make it look like it's hard to pass the tests, but hardly will you see footballers failing. As a result, he did not grow as well as he should when he was a child (watch videos of him on Youtube as a child playing in kid-level matches-even then he was shorter than most kids his age)...so he had to take HGH legally. The relevant sporting and drug bodies know.(Infact he signed for Barca as a child because they were willing to pay for his treatment.All the local Argentine big clubs could not)

This is the sad story of this country. Cases like this i don't even bother to blame or talk bad about the athlete caught for doping.
It's all about the athletic authorities of Nigeria and their incompetence.
We know the proverb - when the head is rotten the rest of the body is weak.
When you have an athletic federation that basically don't support the athletes in anyway, and only have a sustained interaction with them when a tournament is close, athletes will be vulnerable, desperate and liable to make mistakes.
Look at Okagbare who is the creme de la creme of our athletes with all her experience and achievements falling into this trouble. It's because she's all alone without good support both logistically, financially and morally by the athletic authorities of Nigeria.

This is why an elite athlete like her can go astray. She's been left out in the cold to pursue her career all by herself. Sad!

In brief, Messi had a congenital condition where his body was not producing enough growth hormone, and as such needed treatment with HGH...since he was not growing properly without it.
