The suspension of DCP Abba
Kyari, one of Nigeria’s most
decorated police officers has
been hailed by popular activist,
Aisha Yesufu.

Yesufu, in a statement via
Twitter on Sunday, described
the development as ‘Fantastic
News’. It can be recalled that
the Inspector-General of Police,
Usman Alkali, on Sunday
morning suspended Kyari over
his links to disgraced fraudster,
Ramon Olorunwa Abass a.k.a
Hushpuppi.

“Fantastic News! Dear
Buhari’s Government, You can
see it is easy to do the right
thing.”

acquire and hopefully this is the
beginning for you”

“Well done to the IG of Police

tweeted.

Kyari is to face a Special
Investigation panel setup by the
IGP
to look into Kyari’s
indictment by the Federal
Bureau of Investigation, FBI.

The Panel is to be headed by
DIG Joseph Egbunike.
