Obedience is better than sacrifice - you have heard that before. It is more profitable to trust and obey the words of God than to listen to the enemy or even yourself. It will save you a lifetime of headaches when you obey . God knows what best for you and what is best for you. You can't know more than the Heavenly father. Learn from the example of David, Saul and countless other from the Bible. Disobedience reaps horrible consequences in the long run, it is only by great mercy of the Almighty Father that you are still standing and not consumed. Trust God by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

You see if you continue with disobedience, you reap what you sow. The reaping of disobedience can be devastating in the long run and even creates unseen-able problems. We all champion Abraham as the father of faith, but imagine if he decided to ignore God and flat out disobey God. The same case apply to your life, failure to obey God just create unnecessary problems that can be avoided and prevent or delay you from reaping what God has for you. For you to obey God, you must first trust God and not lean on your own understandings.
