Osinbajo and his zombies. Joy and raregem, I am not sure you are not typing from Nigeria. All your so called boyfriend does, is to task things on paper. Body de sweet you because this disaster never touch you and your family. But I promise you soon, you will feel the heat in one way or the other. You have seen the truth, but constantly fail to say it. God's judgement befall you, I don't judge you. Sometimes I believe the people are the problem, not the government. They never see the writing on the wall. |

OC831: I don't think u read d article. If u didn't, let me oblige u: The worsening economic situation, which experts have identified as been responsible for rising crime rate, recurring abduction and killing of innocent people, keeps dampening hope among the population. That is how osinbajo is up and doing. He is really an asset |

TheRareGem1: Why not invest in talent? Tesla, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook and Google are more valuable than all the oil and gold companies combined. Ghana exports $2 billion of Cocoa to Belgium and Belgium process the Cocoa into confectionery and export $35 billion worth of products , creating jobs and not poverty. Nigerians must invest in talent to industrialized agriculture, enough of this subsistence farming and cattle herding in 2021. 1 Like |

No time is too late for planning. We cannot continue to dwell helplessly upon the damage we've been contending with. We need to look for the way Forward. That's exactly what the VP has been making efforts to push for. We need to deploy all necessary approach to right the wrongs. |

Such rallies being put in place cannot be overemphasized. It is a welcome partnership with the private sectors contributing to job creations and employment. 1 Like

I don't know him personally but the VP seems to be a decent man. It's helpful he's pitching Nigeria as an attractive place for investment (big improvement on his half-wit boss who goes around the world denigrating the country), but it's nowhere near sufficient to start the serious work of fixing all the stuff that's wrong. It's a bit of a misplacement of priorities to push for private investment when basic conditions of a stable, responsive, inclusive and competent government are totally lacking. Imagine planning to extend your house, build more rooms, without any plan first to fix the foundation or load bearing walls that are f**ked. With the right conditions, this wouldn't be necessary. Institutional investors are typically shrewd and hardly need to be prompted if they assess Nigeria to be a conducive place to invest in. This is not to say there won't be any investors as there already are (high risk environment with a small chance of high rewards will always attract some), but it's just tiny percentages of portfolios (the most speculative) at the moment and will remain so regardless of soundbites, until conditions are acceptable. |
