The Daily Independent report that the OP used didn’t really quote the AGF statement in full, so it may be confusing.

From the full report by other media, the eminent lawyer which the AGF referred to, is not the VP but Keyamo. He was comparing his position on Supreme Court judgement with Keyamo’s position and publicized view on same.
