Southeast Governors Should Openly Support Ipob’s ‘ghost Monday’ – Simon Ekpa by EXTompolo: 11:38am On Aug 04, 2021
Top Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa says governors in the southeast region of Nigeria should support the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB’s) planned lockdown.

POLITICS NIGERIA understands that IPOB wants to ensure that people of the South-East, Delta and Rivers States observed lockdowns every Monday.

The total lockdown every Monday, which is tagged: “Ghost Monday” by the group, has been scheduled to continue until the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, was released from custody.

“The SouthEast Governors should make U-turn now and support the civil disobedience of those who elected them. The sit-at-home order must be adhered to if Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not released. The case of Abba Kyari should’ve been an eye-opener to how America goes after criminals,” Ekpa wrote on his known Twitter handle on Wednesday.

IPOB is a Biafran separatist and Igbo nationalist organization in Nigeria. Its main aim is “to restore an independent state of Biafra in the South East of Nigeria through an independence referendum”.

IPOB, that's wrong, did you consult the governors before ordering the sit at home, sometimes IPOB will just say things that shows some level of non apprehension, stop labeling ordinary people as saboteurs.

The saboteurs are the governors, senators who are working under the Nigerian state, I see it though as ignorance on the side of the governors, IPOB is trying to hard to be relevant in the eyes of the governors.

Stop these things or we should all accept Nigeria, each time you attach the governors on your every attempt, the governors are subject of the Nigeria state and you don't need their support or approval.

IPOB should be a rebel group and not a pressure group, you had declared your sit at home, expect the governors to stop it because that's why Nigeria chose them.

Let these whole conspiracy stop, the governors are yout opponent not some saboteurs they had made it clear where they belong, now Chanel your offensive appropriately and quite trying to make it seems like we should be at the same side with the governors. I'm a man who believes in honour the governors are equal opponents not some saboteurs.

The day referendum shall come both the IPOB and the governors shall not serve as umpire becuase both party are the actual opponent, the people shall have a say.

Igbo governors are a force Rebellion are another force. With no accord in sight I expect both side to fight with honour.

People that achieved nothing both home and abroad. What to destroy the economy of IGBOLAND for their Biafran Fraud business to continue.

Why dont they shutdown their IPOB account from receiving donations in protest of their supreme FEDNI leader?

What investment do they have in Biafra?

They have killed ikonso and are enjoying with their own children.

Why should any governor close down his business to support nonsense....

IPOB don't even know how much lose it will bring to the states to close down all operations in the entire Southeast....

No same person will do that....

Its funny that ikonso and the rest died and left their children behind. So that kanu can raise more money to feed his own family.

We know our governors are secretly in support, and we appreciate them, but is time for them to come out openly
