The Association, All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) has lamented over the rate of kidnappings of schoolchildren in the Nation on Wednesday, saying God would never forgive those behind the kidnappings of the students.

The President of the Association Mr. Anselm Izuagie, said this during the inauguration event of the Associations’ secretariat in Gwagwalada, Abuja. He stated that principals of the affected schools felt vulnerable that they could not protect the students under their watch.

He stated that it is an unfortunate circumstance which Association was not happy about, but they are vulnerable because they cannot create security for themselves, therefore they called on the government to be committed and safeguard all schools in the Nation.
The former President of ANCOPSS and serving Senator, Ibrahim Shekarau, in his speech, said more money should be allocated in the education sector.
