But the main and only problem that won't make it a reality is that Nigeria is owing world bank and China. Elect a leader that’s pro referendum with a vision of decentralising the federal government, resolve the issue of revenue sharing and start developing mega projects in each region not just Lagos and Abuja, so people would want to go back to their region, then go from there.

Actually what would happen should Nigeria break up is

1.The IMF meets

2.They split the debt among any new nations resulting from the polity called Nigeria

3.They then send notifications to the new nations informing them of their share of the debt and inviting them to neogitate further.

4.Usually the split is accepted by the new nations...I guess all they would quibble with the IMF about is T and C.
