The Association of Movie producers Bayelsa state Chapter on a Facility visit to the Bayelsa international Airport

The Executive Members of the Association of Movie Producers, Bayelsa State embarked on Facility tour to the Bayelsa State International Airport to ascertain its readiness for the resumption of commercial flights.

The executive members were led by it's chairman, Comrade Maxwell Jerry Opoikumo. Arriving at the airport, they were received by the Public Relations Officer, who later conducted the team around the airport facility.

The AMP team were shown the booking stand, arrival hall, VIP Lounge, fire station with its men on standby, the terminal, and the airport clinic.

The PRO explained that the facility at the Bayelsa State airport is second to none with a runway that can take the largest plane in Nigeria.

Speaking on the visit, the publicity Secretary Association of Movie producers Bayelsa state Chapter Mr. Barakumo Solomon Odede expressed delight that the vision for the first airport in the state had become a reality and as movie makers, we will not find it difficult to use an airport in our movies because the passion of Mr Chairman (AMP) is to ensure we make Bayelsa state the hub of the Nigerian movie industry, appreciated the former Governor of Bayelsa state and the prosperity Administration for ensuring continuity, because the only challenge Bayelsa state faces is continuity but Governor Douye Diri administration stands on the countryman philosophy by making sure the Glory of all lands stands out in the committee of states.
