Here's how you can hide Google Meet in Gmail’s desktop app

In 2020, everyone with a Google account had access to Google Meet, which allowed them to create or join a video conference using their Gmail inbox. You can choose to conceal the buttons if you don't intend to utilize Google Meet. Follow these simple steps to hide your Google Meet in Gmail's desktop app:

Step 1: Go to Gmail and click the cog icon in the top-right corner. Now select 'See all Settings' from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Next, go to the 'Chat and Meet' page and pick the 'Hide the Meet section in the main menu' option next to the 'Meet' title.

Step 3: Don't forget to save your changes by clicking the 'Save Changes' button. Gmail's desktop app will hide your Google Meet.

Even after concealing the Meet shortcut in Gmail, you may still use Meet at any time by going to meet.google.com. Both Android and iOS apps can use the same method to hide Google Meet in Gmail's desktop app. However, depending on your administrator's settings, you may not be able to hide Google Meet if you're using a corporate Google Workspace account.
